Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup cashews
  • 1/4 cup white flour or tapioca starch
  • 1  (4oz) jar pimentos
  • 1/3 cup nutritional yeast flakes
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • Chipotle powder to taste.

Instructions

Blend all ingredients in a Vita Mix blender on high until thick.


Notes

If you do not have a Vita Mix blender:  blend all ingredients in a regular household blender until smooth.  Pour cheese mixture into a sauce pan and cook until thick.
