Refreshing Summer Drink

“Refreshing” is the best description I can find for this drink.  A beautiful edition to a party or a kitchen counter on a hot summer day.  Much better for us than the traditional sugar drinks and a great way to encourage the family to drink more water.  With the recommendation that we drink 8 glasses of water a day, this is a great way to do it.  There is no wrong way to make this drink.  Be creative and have fun!

 

Ingredients:

Water

Fresh mint

Sliced lemon

Watermelon pieces

Blueberries

 

Instructions:

Fill a pitcher or container with water and ice.  Stir in the fresh mint, lemon, watermelon, and blueberries.  It is best if allowed to steep for a couple of hours before serving.  This can be left in the fridge until the event, or just left out to enjoy all day.
