Vegan Caesar Salad

This amazing Vegan Caesar Salad tastes as fresh and delicious as it looks. It is a perfect summer salad with crispy lettuce, homemade croutons, and a creamy, flavorful salad dressing.


  • 2  Romaine lettuce heads
  • 1/4 cup silken tofu
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon horseradish
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon capers
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Braggs Liquid Aminos or soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil



  • Add the tofu, lemon juice, horseradish capers, salt, Bragg Liquid Aminos, garlic, and nutritional yeast to a blender. Blend until smooth.  
  • Next, slowly add the oil while the blender is running on low.  
  • Keep in the fridge until ready to serve.
  • Rinse and dry the romaine lettuce leaves.  Chop into bite-size pieces.
  • Toss the romaine lettuce with the Caesar dressing.  Top with garlic croutons and vegan parmesan.


  • The inner leaves of the romaine lettuce are crispier and, therefore, better in this salad.
  • Double the salad dressing for larger salads.
