Plant-Based & Vegan Ranch Dressing
I love a beautiful salad, especially when you have a great dressing to go with it. This time of year salad ingredients are in abundance; you can get so many varieties and create gorgeous healthy salads that just oose with nutrients and antioxidants. Yet in my opinion, the key to a fantabulous salad is really in the dressing; it can make or break the salad. So today, I am sharing my favorite vegan Ranch Dressing recipe.
This dressing can be added to a variety of different recipes. Pour it over a salad, or used as a dip or dipping sauce for many wonderful dishes. It is great on corn dogs, buffalo wings, or even onion rings. Recipes can be taken to the next level with a splash of ranch dressing.
Personally, I love to pour vegan ranch dressing on my pizza, a habit I developed in Europe early in life! If you haven’t tried it yet, you should give it a try; it may just change your life:).
Who invented Ranch dressing?
Ranch dressing is an American staple. It’s enjoyed on salads and used as a condiment. It was first invented by Steve Henson in 1954, who served it to his guests on his Dude Ranch. This buttermilk dressing invention quickly became a huge success and is now an American favorite.
Why would you make a “Plant-Based” or “Vegan” Ranch Dressing?
You can find ranch dressing just about everywhere, so why make it vegan? The truth is that a plant-based salad dressing is much better for you: less fat, no cholesterol, and more nutrients. Besides, this stunning Ranch Dressing does not sacrifice taste, texture, or creaminess.
Let’s be honest; I take my Ranch Dressing very seriously. It must be creamy, beautiful, and ‘show-stoppingly’ delicious. This Vegan Ranch recipe checks all of those boxes for me and more. Plus, I feel great after eating it without adding a lot of extra fat to the arteries or waistline.
This recipe is one of my top favorite recipes. As a base I use my “Easy Vegan Mayonnaise” recipe, which takes less than 10 minutes to make. From there, the recipe is an absolute cinch.
So if you are looking for a delicious Ranch Dressing that will add a creamy element and pop of flavor to your life, then try my Vegan Ranch recipe.
I hope you enjoy this show-stopping recipe as much as I do!
