One-Pot Pasta

Quick, easy, convenient, and sooooo tasty!   This is one of my favorite go-to meals when time is short and I am hungry:)

225g dry pasta (8oz)

1 cup cherry tomatoes cut in half

1 small onion, sliced really thin

3 large garlic cloves, sliced really thin

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper

1 cup diced tomatoes (from can),  slightly crushed in blender

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cups water

salt to taste (1 teaspoon)

Fresh Basil

In a large pot add pasta, cherry tomatoes, onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper, diced tomatoes, olive oil, water, and salt.  Bring to a boil and simmer until pasta is cooked (11-15 minutes depending on your pasta), stirring as needed.  Add fresh chopped basil right before serving.  Dinner is served!

Hi Ani, I read about your site in the Gleaner and wanted to check it out. I really enjoyed watching this video, you are precious. I am going to make the pasta dish. I am not an ‘onion person’ and will use granulated onion in this one or dice the onion really teeny, tiny. :-). I will let you know how it turns out. I’m going to try quite a few of your recipes. Praise the Lord, stay being ‘you’ and keep blooming where He plants you.
